FCNet Student Accounts

Fullerton College Academic Computing Technologies provides FCNet accounts for all currently registered students.  This account is used to sign-in to computers at Fullerton College, connect to Wireless Internet while on campus, access your campus issued EDU email mailbox, and many other services provided by Fullerton College.  Accounts are active starting the first day of the semester to students enrolled in courses at Fullerton College, and are generally available for at least 90 days after the term ends for students to download any coursework.  Accounts for students enrolled in consecutive semesters at Fullerton College will remain active during summer and winter breaks.  Accounts are subject to deletion if no longer enrolled in courses at Fullerton College.

Usage of FCNet accounts is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, the Lab Policies, and applicable District policies including but not limited to the Standards of Student Conduct and Discipline (BP/AP 5500) and Computer and Electronic Communication Systems (BP/AP 3720) the latest version of which are available at https://www.nocccd.edu/policies-and-procedures

Your FCNet account has a username and email address of [studentID]@fullcoll.edu
For example, a student with the id 39382647 would have the FCNet account: 39382647@fullcoll.edu. To access your email from off campus through a browser, go to https://o365.fullcoll.edu. Log in using your FCNet username and your MyGateway password.

Student account passwords are synchronized with myGateway and must be managed through the MyGateway portal.

How to change your preferred email in myGateway

Data Storage

Student accounts have data storage for up to 1TB of data for coursework and personal use in Office 365 services OneDrive, Teams and Mail. On-campus computer lab and classroom computers will attempt to automatically transfer documents saved to a computer’s Desktop or My Documents folder to your OneDrive, but to guarantee that your files are saved for as long as you are a Fullerton College student, you must store them in your OneDrive folder.  You may access Office 365, and confirm (or upload your files) by visiting https://o365.fullcoll.edu

Data Retention

Student accounts may be deleted and their data purged 90 days after the semester ends. Students should enroll in consecutive semesters to ensure their accounts remain active and available.  Students that are planning on skipping a semester, should contact the ACT Help Desk and request that their account expiration date be extended for one semester.

Web Space

Students may request Web Space on the campus web for use with any web authoring classes they may be enrolled in.  To request web space, please fill out the Web Hosting Request form available at https://forms.fullcoll.edu/act.  For information about how to access your site, please see your instructor.
