611 Lab Information and Reservation Policy
Location and Access
The 611 Lab is located on the 1st floor at the south end of the 600 Building at Fullerton College. Upon entering through the double doors at the south entrance, the lab is accessible through the door on your left.
To gain access to the 611 Lab, contact Fullerton College Campus Safety at (714) 992-7080 at least 15 minutes prior to your desired entry time, as officers may be engaged in other duties. The Academic Computing Technologies Help Desk does not have keys to the 600 Building. When your session is complete, please contact Campus Safety again to secure the electronic door.
Lab Specifications
The 611 Lab is equipped with:

All stations are PCs running Windows 10 with internet access
Login Credentials

Fullerton College Employees: Use your FCNet account (e.g., JDoe) to log in.

Students: Use your 8-digit student ID number and the same password used for myGateway.
Reservation Policy
The 611 Lab is available for instructor-led demonstrations on a limited basis. Reservations are managed through the Public Folder in Outlook by submitting a meeting request. Once submitted, the reservation will appear on the calendar.
Reservation Guidelines

Availability: Reservations are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Limits: Instructors may reserve the lab for 1 hour per section per week, up to a maximum of 6 hours per section per semester.

Extended Use: Additional time or frequency may be permitted if there are no conflicting requests. However, as demand increases, reservations exceeding the standard limit may be adjusted to accommodate more users.

Future Reservations: Reservations for the following academic year open on July 1 of the current year.

Cancellations: To cancel a reservation, email ACTHelpDesk@fullcoll.edu.

Access: Contact Campus Safety to open the lab for your session.
Policy Rationale
The demand for computer lab access grows each semester due to the increasing number of courses requiring technology. To ensure equitable access to this limited resource, the Academic Computing Technologies department may adjust
reservation limits as needed. We appreciate your cooperation in maximizing availability for all students and faculty.
